Anti-Static Coatings
KEEP IT CLEAN
Antistatic powder coatings are functional coatings used on surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate buildup of electrostatic charge. The cured surface is conductive in the range of kilovolts, at low voltages (< 1 KV) it acts as an insulator. Because acumulated electrostatic charge discharges at even higher voltgaes than the conductance treshhold of powder film it is succesfuly dissipated prior any potential damage is made.
Color Powder Coatings are mostly used the electronics industry for protection of sensitive elements from high voltage discharge.
